iPadpalooza is a three-day event held at Westlake High School in Austin, TX.  This learning festival is a celebration of the cultural-shift the iPads have brought about in education and the world.  This event will focus on creativity, social collaboration, engagement and the compelling ways schools have integrated iPads into their classrooms.  This year we will also premiere our “iLead Academy” which will take place on June 17th (8:30-4:00) and is focused on helping campus and district leadership thrive in a mobile learning environment.

The festival will start on the evening of June 17th at 6:30pm (registration opens at 4:00pm) and end on June 19th and will feature amazing speakers from all over the world, lots of live music and of course, food trailers. Please note there will be limited seating to this event and the iLead Academy.

iPadpalooza…It’s not a conference, it’s a learning festival!

Technology Integration Coach
St. Louis, MO
Patricia Brown is a technology integration coach at Ladue School District, an adjunct professor at Lindenwood University, and an edtech consultant. She has been an educator since 2001. She spent nine years as a classroom teacher with the St. Louis Public Schools. Patricia instantly became intrigued with discovering how students learned, and how technology enhances student achievement. Patricia wanted to provide her student with opportunities to conceptualize the impact technology has on their daily lives. Like most public schools, McKinley did not have adequate funding for technology, so she applied for and was awarded a technology grant valued at over $25,000 for her classroom. With advanced degrees in Educational Technology, she is passionate about providing educators with practical ways to integrate technology through her trainings, blog, and website. She believes, preparing teachers will ultimately prepare students to compete in our global society through 21st century teaching and learning. In 2006, she was honored as Teacher of the Year. On a personal side she is a lifelong partner to her husband, and mom-in chief to her five sons.
