iPadpalooza 2014 has ended

iPadpalooza is a three-day event held at Westlake High School in Austin, TX.  This learning festival is a celebration of the cultural-shift the iPads have brought about in education and the world.  This event will focus on creativity, social collaboration, engagement and the compelling ways schools have integrated iPads into their classrooms.  This year we will also premiere our “iLead Academy” which will take place on June 17th (8:30-4:00) and is focused on helping campus and district leadership thrive in a mobile learning environment.

The festival will start on the evening of June 17th at 6:30pm (registration opens at 4:00pm) and end on June 19th and will feature amazing speakers from all over the world, lots of live music and of course, food trailers. Please note there will be limited seating to this event and the iLead Academy.

Debra Reymundo Atchison has been in the educational technology field for 23 years. She earned her Master’s degree online in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University in 1999. Since this time, she has taken her technology training skills out of the public schools and into the rest of the world. She has worked as an international trainer, training in countries such as Africa, Ukraine and most recently Vienna. She has led large school districts to numerous successes in technology through her school, district and state technology leadership positions. Debra has taught technology applications on a college level and has even been the personal teacher for comedian Eddie Murphy’s own children. Mrs. Atchison has vast experience in online learning as well. She has written, designed and even taught online courses for continued learning credit and collegiate environments. Debra’s enthusiastic, patient and interactive approach to professional development leaves educators not only with new skills, but also motivation, excitement and passion for implementing best practices and technology into their curriculum as soon as they return to the classroom. She currently serves as the Technology Coordinator for Professional Development in Richardson ISD, located in the Dallas, Texas area. Debra is a Google Certified Trainer and the GAfE Administrator for her district.
