iPadpalooza 2014 has ended

iPadpalooza is a three-day event held at Westlake High School in Austin, TX.  This learning festival is a celebration of the cultural-shift the iPads have brought about in education and the world.  This event will focus on creativity, social collaboration, engagement and the compelling ways schools have integrated iPads into their classrooms.  This year we will also premiere our “iLead Academy” which will take place on June 17th (8:30-4:00) and is focused on helping campus and district leadership thrive in a mobile learning environment.

The festival will start on the evening of June 17th at 6:30pm (registration opens at 4:00pm) and end on June 19th and will feature amazing speakers from all over the world, lots of live music and of course, food trailers. Please note there will be limited seating to this event and the iLead Academy.

Sandy Kendell is a Digital Learning Coach in Georgetown ISD with 25 years of experience in K-12 education including classroom teaching, instructional technology facilitation, and school public relations. Sandy is an experienced trainer and conference presenter, having led or co-led a variety of learning sessions in GISD and at conferences such as SXSWedu, ISTE, TCEA, Texas Google Summit, and iPadpalooza, She is a proponent of planning for thoughtful and authentic use of technology in education. Sandy’s areas of interest include G Suite for Education, social media in education, digital citizenship and ethics, blended and online learning, and encouraging educators in their pursuit of lifelong learning. She is a Level 1 and 2 Google Certified Educator and a Seesaw Ambassador. In January 2019, she began pursuing a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an EdTech Specialization at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
